The Consorzio di Tutela della Nocciola Piemonte I.G.P. (Consortium for the Protection of the Nocciola Piemonte P.G.I.) associates about 1000 individual farms and members of agricultural cooperatives and is the only body recognized by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies to carry out the functions of: protection, surveillance, valorisation and promotion of the Nocciola Piemonte P.G.I.
